The Department of Linguistics and Language Studies organized a fundraising activity to support their flood-affected brothers and sisters. Students set up various stalls offering food items, perfumes, watches, clocks, bags and other handicrafts. The collection from these stalls were donated to the flood victims through the Vice Chancellor’s Flood Donation Fund.

On this occasion, the Chairman, Prof. Dr. Ijaz Asghar, along with faculty members, visited the stalls to encourage and appreciate the students’ efforts. He particularly commended the initiative of generating funds through self-earned contributions rather than simply appealing for donations, highlighting the students’ sense of responsibility and solidarity with those in distress.
